Philosophy

We at Seven Mountains Home School Academy believe there are two criteria that must be met to provide the quality of education that is worthy of your child.

The first is to provide an academic program that will equip your child with the knowledge and understanding that will allow them to flourish in an ever changing world. It is our goal to teach these subjects in the way your child learns best.

The second criterion is based on our firm belief that every child is born with a unique gift and identity, designed and given by God, for a specific destiny. A child's natural talents and tendencies are a result of this gift. When this gift is honored and their identity nurtured, children and adults fulfill their destiny. Each child is created with a specific assignment that will change the world around them. We believe every child is a story to be read and not written. We refer to these gifts as redemptive gifts. Redemptive gifts redeem something valuable that has been lost. We all have them and when they are engaged we experience the most fulfillment.

It has been our experience that having only one of these streams of education leaves a child with an incomplete foundation. Academics without identity leave a child without direction and identity without knowledge and wisdom leave a child without ability.
